I-Cat in Calgary
I-Cat ~ International Cat Agility Tournaments
I-Cat ~ International Cat Agility Tournaments Official, Laurie Bone was in attendance at our April 2006 show. What a fantastic time we had and the comments received by our spectators made all our hard work well worth the effort!! Thank you Laurie for making it possible!
The fully enclosed 10' x 20' course layout featured a variety of obstacles. The course is designed to highlight the cat's natural grace and beauty of movement.
This April's presentation will not include I-Cat. But you can check out all the information, practice with your cat at home and be ready for the next time they are in town!! For information about ICAT, see www.catagility.com & www.catagility.ca
All healthy cats are eligible to participate in I-CAT, although kittens cannot be officially scored for timed trials. In order to participate in timed runs, you must register your cat with I-CAT, which costs $10. Practice Runs are free. To compete in the time trials there is an additional $10 scoring fee, which includes free trial runs and two competition runs. No need for TICA show entries to pre-register and exhibitors are encouraged to let their cats try out the agility ring. A cat does not have to be registered with any association such as TICA to compete in the Agility Ring.
So practice up...and keep any eye out for the next competition offered near you!
